Himba Photos and Culture
The Himba are a semi-nomadic people who are found in Northern Namibia. In Namibia, they are the last semi-nomadic people who still adhere to their traditional lifestyle.
Due to persistent drought conditions that exist in Namibia the Himba have adopted to a lifestyle which requires very little water. As a result Himba photos are very unique because they cover themselves with a red paste. This gives their skin a reddish coloration which makes them very photogenic.
